Lately, I’ve been digging a more dewy look with my make-up. I prefer full coverage foundations and trying to make them look more like skin and less cakey is always the goal. I had heard really good things about the Tatcha brand and during Sephora’s VIB sale I decided it was time to try this brand out myself.
The packaging is gorgeous; it goes from clear, letting you see the white liquid within, to an opaque lilac. It’s glossy looking, and embossed with the product name in gold. When you pull off the lid it has a pump to allow for you to easily spray it on. The nozzle sprays the product out pretty finely, most of the time. Occasionally, it’s like there’s an air bubble and it’ll shoot out in big white splatters onto my face. When it’s working correctly, it gives my skin such a luminous, glowy look. When it’s not working correctly, my make-up looks a little blotchy, there’s splatters on it, and I can see parts on my face where it’s almost dissolved it completely. I have a love-hate relationship with this product. Love how it works when it’s working correctly, hate it when it’s not working. I’m not sure if this is a product that I’ll be keeping as it wasn’t cheap. It retails for $58.00 (Canadian) for 1.35 oz of product.
Which skin type is it good for?
What it is:
A silky, fine mist moisturizer that can be used under or over makeup for dewy glowing skin anytime, anywhere.
- Dewy skin, this product works exactly like it’s supposed to giving your makeup a nice finished look
- Fine mist, spray nozzle shoots out a fine mist enabling you to evenly spray your face
- Spray nozzle occasionally doesn’t work properly, I’m unsure if it gets clogged or an air bubble interrupts but it makes my make-up look blotchy and a hot mess or I get white spots which ain’t cute
- Expensive, retails for $58.00 (Canadian) for 1.35 oz
