RiRi came out with a bomb ass makeup collection, that deserves taking some time off, maybe a little break. Just kidding, RiRi’s got no time for that. She’s got a makeup empire to build, hence her release of liquid lipsticks. And you know I waited up until the midnight release to get my hands on this. Trust me, it did not disappoint.
First of all, THIS PACKAGING. It looks so glamorous and high quality. She keeps the hexagon shape going but gives it a new twist. The lid is silver metal embossed with the brand name, and the bottom is clear glass enabling you to see the shade and how much product is left with no problem. When you open it up, it has a unique applicator that’s not your stereotypical doe foot applicator, but is more angled and shaped for precision. It’s in the shade Uncensored, which is the only shade out at this time, and it’s described as a, “perfect universal red”. Which is quite the claim but I think they’re spot on. Now formula wise, it’s extremely thin and liquidy consistency which means you have to be careful applying it but also makes it incredibly lightweight. Very pigmented and it only takes a thin coat for serious colour payoff. It dries in an alright amount of time and has a matte finish. I haven’t had any issues with this feathering or transferring. It lasts really well, even through eating or drinking. It retails for $30.00 (Canadian) for 0.13oz/4mL.
What it is:
A weightless, 12-hour liquid lipstick with a soft matte finish—born in one head-turning red shade that looks incredible on all skin tones.
What it does:
When life’s all about taking risks, wearing red lipstick shouldn’t be one of them. Enter Stunna Lip Paint: The love child of high-impact color and low-maintenance long-wear in one head-turning red that’s got everyone’s name on it. It is, hands down, the perfect shade of red—hand-picked by Rihanna and obsessively tested to make sure it looks incredible on everyone.
Equal parts class and sass, Stunna Lip Paint goes from zero to 100 in one stroke of its lip-defining precision wand, making it easier than ever to dress your lips in show-stopping, soft matte pigment. Its serious 12-hour hold is so weightless, if it weren’t for the non-stop compliments, you’d forget you were even wearing it. And if that weren’t enough—Stunna Lip Paint won’t feather, staying kissably smooth. In other words, it behaves so you don’t have to.
- Universal red shade, I truly believe this would look good on all skin tones
- Matte finish, but quite a soft one so your lips won’t feel dry
- Precision applicator, making it simple to apply
- Long wearing
- Doesn’t feather or transfer
- Price, why Riri why. It retails for $30.00 (Canadian) for 0.13oz/4mL which is a lil expensive for that amount of product.
- Consistency, it is quite runny so there’s a chance it might run while you’re applying
- Shade range, so far this is the one and only shade in the collection. So if you’re not into this red or were hoping for some nudes, we’re not quite there yet
